Kids will learn basic casting and fly-tying skills.

1 pm - 3 pmTying Flies for the Madison: Blue Ribbon Flies

Craig Mathews and John Juracek of Blue Ribbon Flies in West Yellowstone, MT, will demonstrate their useful and successful fly patterns that work on the Madison. Learn from the inventor of the "Sparkle Dun" and many other innovative fly patterns. Craig literally "wrote the book" on Fishing the Madison.

Learn fly casting from the experts! Try your hand at casting a fly rod in our casting pond.

Guest instructor Ken Hall of Bearfeather Studio will help individuals learn how to take excellent digital images on the Madison River. Bring your digital camera and be ready to become an expert!

4 pm - 5 pmA Guide's Guide to Guides

Jerry Schildroth walks you through what a guide can - and should - do. Plus, raffle of a free guided float trip. Don't miss it!

5 pm - 6 pmApproaches & Presentations for Wary Trout

Mike Lawson, longtime guide from the Henry's Fork in Idaho, will discuss the delicate art of stalking those WCV's: wily, crafty veterans. Tactics, techniques, and stealth combine to catch the careful ones you have long dreamed about.
